Senior Sitecore/.NET Developer

A Developer role at Liquid will see you work in close collaboration with our multidisciplinary team including Designers, Data Analysts, Marketing Strategists, Project Managers and other external stakeholders.

We build a range of digital experience products including websites, web and mobile apps, eLearning, eCommerce and marketing campaigns.

The Sitecore / .Net Developer plays a critical role in defining and delivering the quality required to maintain our reputation for delivering great digital experiences.

You will need to show a minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Sitecore Developer (or similar role) with knowledge of testing and quality assurance principles and an understanding of agile delivery. You always will get chance to work with latest and greatest versions and tools in Sitecore field

 

Core responsibilities of the role:

  • Write functional code and configure existing systems
  • Work within the Technology team to provide high quality front end and back end coding solutions
  • Work with the Design, Operations & Delivery and Client Engagement teams to find solutions to existing code problems
  • Work with Designers to convert designs into an interactive system using the specific framework functions
  • Mentor and set directions for project specific technology for junior developers
  • Continuously review new technologies and implement (where applicable) to keep high standards and to practice latest technologies
  • Maintain and enhance current applications


To be successful in the role you'll need:

  • Extensive experience (3-5 years) building websites using .Net technologies
  • 3 years’+ experience with Sitecore (Sitecore 10+ and SXA/JSS experience highly advantageous)
  • Strong skills in ASP.net Core, ASP.NET, MVC, C#, and SQL Server
  • Front end abilities and experience: HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • Sound knowledge and experience with cross device web responsive implementations
  • Proven Visual Studio experience using .NET and C#
  • Experience with object-oriented design and Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
  • Excellent communication (including listening) and presentation skills
  • The ability to be a great team player and work closely with other technical and business colleagues
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively
  • The ability to multitask and manage multiple projects under tight time constraints in a calm manner
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong problem solving and analytical skills

Advantageous, but not essential:

  • Front end skills in ReactJS, AngularJS and SASS
  • Experience working with GIT and Gitflow
  • Experience with build tools Grunt, Gulp and MSBuild is preferred
  • Experience with Azure, DevOps and VSTS
